ODFW now has CWD testing available. This is especially important for those of us hunting on the east side.

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is a fatal neurological disease infecting deer and elk across North America. While CWD has not yet been detected in Oregon, the recent discovery of a case of CWD in Idaho means both hunters and wildlife managers need to be on the watch. Check your test results

Don't forget we also have check stations now too. If you encounter a check station while transporting game it is mandatory to stop.
