Has anyone shot the traditions ultra light 50 cal 26 inch barrel. It is the pursuit. I was going to buy a Thompson but my buddy has one in the box with scope for 250. I just want a dependable gun out to 200 yards. I had a nightmare with cva optima.

If I'm not mistaken, CVA and Traditions are made in the same plant... with some of the same parts. I have an older CVA, its a cheap rifle, functioned like one, but worked. I perfer Knight rifles.

I have a traditions .54 in-line ,not sure whitch model it is,,,but found it was grouping poorly,,,later after i backed off the powder it started shooting pretty good,,,,be sure to work your load up as mine shoots pretty good w 80 grains but starts spreading out with higher powder charges.

I have 2 of the traditions pursuit rifles but not the ultra ligh,,both of mine shoot great,,of couse they both like different loads than each other but I have taken 3 bull elk with the one,,no problems,,If I was offered the deal that you have I would take it
