In 53 you'll be competing for 4 tags in either the 1st or 2nd season, probably against me! IMO there's enough wilderness area and elevation there that if you're willing to walk and climb you'll be in elk on either hunt. Most that bow hunt that unit aren't. In 52 and 53 there are a fairly decent amount of small landowner unit wide tags available that are as cheap or cheaper than applying with an outfitter that make for a good backup plan.
