Guys and Gals, I am after some assistance in both info and sources of info on a hunt I would like to do.
What I am considering, if indeed possible, is to try for a party tag, hopefully OTC, with a mate from Southern California on Mule Deer in the Frank Church Wilderness.
The hunt would be a rifle hunt and I don't know what specific unit.
It would be my 50th birthday present to myself and I want a epic adventure in a spectacular area and would occur in October / November 2021 obviously season dependent.
Is it possible to get deeper in via plane or chopper? And then back pack in deeper, hunting in and back out to the landing site.
Or is it more viable to acces these areas form trail heads?
What would be the duration of such a tag? Long is good given weather and having time to enjoy and take it all in.
If you guys consider this a remote chance then I am open to suggestions. Ill probably have just opened a Pandora's Box of questions with the answers I get.
