Nikon Prostaff 5 Spotting Scope

Good enough for the money and light enough to keep in your pack

Thank you. Through reading the various threads the theme, "buy the best glass you can afford," keeps popping up. The prostaff 5 is just that for me. I honestly don't ever see myself having the need to get anything more. Every hunting video I watch on YouTube Vortex glass is used, but these guys are pros. I'm just trying to put some meat in the freezer lol!

That's a heck of deal you got on that scope! I wish I could fine one for that.

Oh what size did you get? I was thinking the 20-60x82. I'd really like to be able to sit back and take some pics and video to bring home and share with my wife and kids.

I picked up the Prostaff 5 16-48 for $350. I don't have a single complaint about it. I have had good luck taking pictures through it too without the phone scope.
