Hey everyone, new member from Oregon. I’ve hunted Oregon for the last 20 years, mainly our East for elk and mule deer. I also spend a lot of time fishing the Columbia and Oregon coast for salmon, bottom fish, and whatever else is biting.
I’m pretty much always looking for an excuse to be outdoors—hunting, fishing, boating, camping, etc. I have two sons who love to hunt as well, so getting them out with me has become a big part of it.
This year I’m branching out a little and heading to Idaho for an Elk City elk hunt rifle, which is what originally led me to finding this forum.
I’ve enjoyed reading through everyone’s experiences and figured it was time to join in. Looking forward to learning from the group and contributing where I can. Good luck this season!
