With the new passage of Senate Bill 97 here in Alaska state lands will be moving to a guide concession program much like on Federal lands. Hopefully this will reduce crowding in areas of the state with no limit on the number of guides that can operate in them. Additionally, it will incentivize taking only mature animals and leaving younger animals to mature for the following years. Ideally this is a win win for both Residents and Non Residents.
