New Hunting Shows on the Outdoor and Sportsman's channels

I would definitely like to see more shows in the DIY, public land arena!

The format is a really tough sell, and really hard to provide content worth watching.

If you think about it, most public land hunts are 90% walking, 9% camping, and 1% of hunting.

Finding a format that can provide 13, 22 minute 30 second episodes is real tough. Selling, what content you do have, to sponsors willing to buy airtime on a TV channel is nearly impossible.

Good point! I suppose those ranches and outfitter foot part of the bill to get exposure, hence making it easier to pay for the cost of production. With that said, I can't stand most of those ranch hunts. That doesn't depict what real hunting is like for 99% of the population!

That show was horrible. The voice over was scripted so terribly and the way they filmed and hunted was silly. The rams are named and seem pretty tame so it must have been a tough hunt. And after he misses the ram called "alien" he says they decided to pass him up haha. So terrible.

That voice over on the ultimate shot was unbearable, turned the volume down to finish watching the video. That is pretty interesting that he would pass on that ram after missing it. Also shooting 80lbs is a bit over kill as well. The CG arrow on the second video is ridiculous as well. Too funny.
