I have been reading for a few weeks now and decided to join in on the convo. I have lots of questions and things to learn. I grew up hunting the family farm and have only ever hunted public twice. Once for mule deer with my uncle in North Dakota, and once for turkey near home. I joined to learn about gear mostly, but also want to plan a public land hunt out west in a few years

This might be sacrilegious but i dont know that i have been to any of those. Looking at the pics of dreamland I am pretty sure i have been there as a kid. I am from the south end of lake martin so i dont make it into the Birmingham area very often. BUT. i am only 21 and a newlywed so i still have time to try them all

Oh hell, then Brenda's in the Gump or Bow & Arrow on the Plains are where you need to head, ideally after hitting one of the CRATA trails! Welcome aboard.
