Might be good to hear from the director directly.
In my opinion, there's a lot of fluff and not much real discussion of the issues. She sounds more like an administrator not a the person making the decisions, creating policy, or developing plans and strategy.

Exactly. All those things like major decision, policy, and strategy come from the Governor’s office along with his hand-selected activist commissioners.

And I don’t mean that as a dig against Clellan. Just the nature of single party rule under Polis-Reis.
