Need some ideas for november

So I wish I had this planned a little better, but I just found out my wife and kids will be gone the week of thanksgiving. So the dog and I are looking for something to do and I thought maybe someone would have some good insight on any states or units that might have deer hunting opportunities over the counter that late in the year. I am in northern Michigan but willing to drive a ways. Maybe some states have a mule deer season that late with a way to still get tags? Anything in Nebraska or Colorado, etc? Just looking for ideas. Thanks!

I leave next Friday for SE Alaska to hunt Sitka Blacktail Deer. Tags are over the counter.
