Don’t laugh but I am swear by Swarovski optics. Austrian made only. I also like the Night force but have only one. The best deals I have ever ran across on Swarovski optics have been I eBay during the summer. I know many fakes are out there. But the deal with Swarovski is the lifetime transferable warranty. So far I have purchased 4 Swarovski rifle scopes and a pair of the EL Bono’s. Sent them to Swarovski to transfer the warranty and get verification. So far all deals proved to be the real deal and saved me up to 60% on mint optics. If Swarovski came back and said they were knock offs as I understand eBay will stand by the purchase. Just a bit of info as I have been fairly lucky and saved too money on what I feel is the clearest optics that still hold in super low light to the point I had to not shoot as it was way past legal shooting hours but I could see my cross hairs and target. Any others found deals in other places?

I found that to be true with some nicer Nikon optics as well. There are some steals direct from Japan. If they turn out to be fakes (which you only have like 30-days to prove) then ebay will force a refund.

Last 3X15x55 EL was on eBay. Swarovski to ask wher I purchased. Apparently it was never registered and their sales records showed it came from Cabelas bargain bin? Wonder how they knew that? Guess it was sold via cabelas and returned before registered?

I have seen similar deals on kowa straight from Japan, it was tempting........

Eurooptic sells demo Swarovski in their used section periodically for good prices. Last year you could get into a demo 65 HD spotter and zoom lense for around 1500 bucks, probably should have bought one of those.

I shoot ground squirrels and prairie dogs. So I spend a lot of time looking through a riflescope. my favorite is a Swarovski. Cost about $1300, i think it’s is good value.

I was at My mechanics out in Cave Creek AZ. some years back. We sat on his back patio and He put up A Nikon Spotting Scope against a Leupold Of the same price and we looked at the mountians a mile away. I will never buy a Nikon over Leupold again and I havn't. Won't even consider a Nikon. This was stuff in the $900 range 15 years ago. What killed me was I had a pair of Nikon 10x 40's and it said on them ,Nikon Japan and on the other sise it said Made in CHINA. I got the biggest laugh out of that . ........................BOB!
