Mule Deer Laramie Peak area Wyoming

Drew a tag for wyoming mule deer just wondering if anyone had any ideas on hunting the Laramie Peak area in Wyoming. thanks

I have hunted elk around there and I have to say that if you want to find a descent buck there, you are gonna have to find some public land around the foothills. ALOT of private land around that range so it will be tough. I havent seen alot of deer up in the mountains themselves but did find a really good 170+ 4 point shed if the other side was the same. Are you in unit 65?

ok that was my second guess. haha... I have hunted that unit before and was lucky enough to find some private land in the lower country that would allow me to take a buck, wasn't a huge buck but at the time it was my first mule deer. Doesnt hurt to ask. In my opinion, lower is better.

Hello Drew a non-resident deer tag for region J, anyone have any recommendations for units in this region.
