This might be a long-shot, but I thought I'd try nonetheless. My dad recently retired to Bozeman. He hunts almost exclusively with his traditional flintlock rifles these days. He'd love to find a landowner in the Gallatin Valley Weapons Restriction Area (district 309) who would like to have does harvested. Does anyone here know of anyone who would welcome a friendly hunter with his flintlock to take a doe off their property? I know this is a shot in the dark, but if any group of people can help in this situation, it would have to be the members of this forum.

Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it!

I think there is some block management in that area .
try fish and game office and look in the block management book .
Or look on line ..hope this helps him out.

I wont give out names, but I can tell you from experiance that with just a little time spent knocking on doors he will find access for does along the river.
