Moosie - A shake recipe

Knowing your fondness for the nectar of the Gods (chocolate shakes) I would like to pass on a recipe to you. Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner.

When I lived in Hawaii I used to go to a little diner in Kaimuki (between Honolulu and Hawaii Kai sort of) and would order these. A big persentage of my paycheck went to this place. It was called an Ono Ono Shake (loose translation I believe is Good Good Shake). It is lots of choc. ice cream, with penut butter and banana. I absolutely love these things. Give it a try. With the banana you can always say that it is a healthy drink/smoothie to justify it if needed

Peanut Butter and banana. I used to do that but with my diet shakes. So much for the diet.

Well, it is one of those things that you just have to go by trial and error until you find the right blend of the ingredients. I usually just start plopping it in and measure by when I look at the gob of stuff and say mmmmmmmmmmmmm, that looks yummy. then start mixing. Of course, I tend to get a little more than one of my shake cups can handle and then I just have to drink 2 (or more). Feel free to experiment to your heart's content.

I did one last night but putin too much peanut butter and an older 'nanner I think. Wasn't as good as a Straight Choc shake but it wasn't too bad so I drank it anyways... will upload pictures later.

OK Moosie. I see banana, penut butter, and what looks like vanilla ice cream?? Did you add any choc. ice cream? When it was mixed it sure looks like you left out the choc. ice cream, not dark enough.
