Moon cycle for sheep hunting?

After connecting on elk with my bow the last 5 years in a row while hunting the moon cycles, I'm a believer. Well I have a sheep tag in hand and opening day is Monday. Moon is all wrong, do I make the trip now and hunt, or wait a couple weeks and spend time hunting in the best moon cycle?

I don't know if sheep are effected as much as elk, but I can't take the whole month off to test this theory.

Any help or thoughts on the matter?

My thoughts are get out there now and see, if that doesn't work out, beg, borrow and steal more time later.

what unit? any fires in the region that affect visibility?

Unit 27, there is a fire on Banner summit, but shouldn't affect me except maybe taking to long route to the hunting grounds.

27-4. I have a couple places picked out where I've seen sheep in the past, think I'm just going to go. I can't hold myself back.
