I ran across this article about an Oregon wolf that made it as far south as Ventura, CA. Pretty impressive.
It’s kind of heavy in the anthropomorphism, as you could expect from the New Yorker, but still cool to think about. I’m not making a statement about the “wolf issue” - that’s another discussion, I just thought others might find it interesting from a natural history perspective.
