Looking for a new rifle

I would place the quality of the action, barrel, trigger, stock, accuracy way before a threaded barrel. It is no big deal to bring a rifle to a smith and have them thread it.

I don't doubt you didn't like yours, but they are nearly universally viewed as tack drivers -- you may be the exception in support of the rule.

Full disclosure, my T3 lite stainless (2004 vintage) didn’t shoot everything great, I sprayed some really high buck premium loads all over the place, but once I found what it liked, it drives tacks.
