Pretty cool article in the Helena Independent Record today about a well known area moose.

I have always been fascinated by these rovers of the woods. The way they bend their legs when they run - it's like they're floating. Just last season I jumped one and watched him silently disappear into beetle-killed blowdown at full speed like a half ton ghost.
Despite the concern over their decreasing populations, it's cool this moose lived a full life.
