Judging Antelope

Best Advice I can give is that the ear tends to be about 6" long plus or minus a bit depending on the animal(at least in MT). If you can find a goat that is 2 ears long plus some curl, that is probably a 13+" Long antelope.

If score is the concern, I totally agree with mtmuley... MASS, MASS, MASS. About 8 years ago I shot an antelope that scores just over 74". The long horn was about 12.5". It was the Heaviest Antelope I've taken, and out scores a 14.5" buck I shot a few years before.

Antelope are one of my favorite critters to hunt. Enjoy the trip. It will be a blast. I don't have as much time to hunt them as I'd really like. I figure if I can have fun and find a buck that's 12" or longer, I'm good with that.
