Looking into going to Idaho next year have a buddy that lived in southeast Idaho said it might be worth doing a Elk / Mulie hunt. Says tags are easy to get, anyone have any input on these areas or just the Southeast area. Don't hear alot about this area, is it worth checking out thanks.

It's been 15 years since I have been over there, but I did see some real good mulies in unit 67. I was Mtn. goat hunting and we would glass up good bucks almost every day. I went up Palisades creek to chicken can springs trail and hunted the tops between there and rainy creek. But, like I say it was 15 years ago, but there were a lot of deer. Hope this gives you a place to start.

I put in for unit 64 muzz elk and didnt draw it even tho chances were supposed to be good? still interested in unit,,,maybe next year but dont know much about the unit???any info would be great on 64 if anybody has hunted it?
