Idaho Unit 53 Question

If someone from around the area could tell me about the hunting in the area? There is an opportunity to possibly relocate to the area and I wanted to know about the hunting and fishing. Any info would be helpful. Thank you.

I believe south of the river is exclusively private property and north of the river is mostly private property with a fair amount of BLM ground too. My sister and her husband used to live in Hansen and there was a few monster bucks that lived by/in the canyon. Of course, the problem was getting permission to hunt with all the private ground.

ok, the area was around Jerome. What are some units around that area that you would recommend for a good hunt? Is there a lot of hunting pressure?
