Idaho unit 46-1c early muzzle

I was one of the 10 to draw this area. I know it's a great wintering area and holds some giant Bulls. But what is it like in the September time frame? I've never been there during the summer. Are the elk numbers descent? I will be spending a lot of time scouting 46 and 47. Not looking for any secret spots, just some general knowledge from someone who may be more familiar with the area
