I drew an area 30 late season elk tag. I know the hunt is somewhat weather dependent. Looking at the Idaho F&G stats and it looks like they take quite a few branched antlered bulls and some over 300. Any thoughts on quality and/or suggestions for hunting the area. May get a chance to scout over Labor Day. Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Great hunt to have. Never had the tag myself but helped a couple buddies with their hunts. Do lots of glassing and you will see lots of elk. I would focus on the northern end of the unit and as far south as Ramsey Mt. Have fun!
