Just starting, but conditions seem optimal with good bug hatch due to late spring rain. Getting some moisture now, but ideally not enough to hurt hatch. Keeping finger crossed.

Good to hear!

At one point in my life I thought I was tough, then I went on a Chukar hunt. I'll never make that mistake again.

There were a bunch of hens with chicks in riggans last two weeks. Some had big (10-12chicks) clutches

Did anyone check on the other side of the Snake in OR? I'd assume the same conditions would exist there too. As a kid we used to go up to Richland OR(SE of Riggins) every fall. Such variety in and around there. Great memories. I'd love to go back at some point before I get too infirmed ;-)
