Idaho 46 OTC

Hi everyone,
So I struck out in nearly all of my draws this year... whomp whomp.
Since I have an Idaho license I figured I'd get an OTC deer tag before they sell out.

Who has any info on 46? looking for a opportunity hunt, fun and hopefully relaxing
Also I am not 100% set on 46 but southern Idaho is closest to my location so don't wanna drive much further.

Wide open country for sure. There are deer there, just not in big numbers.

I agree with OwyheeHuntr on the deer numbers. I would keep driving past 46.

not big #s ,at least not till nov or so but there be some big bucks lurking in some of that canyon land

Wide open country, not many deer. The quality isnt the best. If you see a buck, chances are it's a little crab-claw. Hike back into the canyons and glass. They will bed down pretty much all day due to the heat. It's a big unit and the canyons can be sheer cliffs.
