Ok.. not really, but I did see Jupiter and Saturn. Never seen them before but my dad bought the boys this HUGE telescope. I've never been interested in starts before butthis was kinda neat !! Anyone else ever look at the stars ?

We bought one for Vivian's Birthday when we moved back to the States. (Could not see stars in Bangkok's smog.)
Must admit that is cool. Great way to spend time and if they get into it like Vivian did, they will be checking out the NASA site and planning dates to see something that only happens ever ... whatever. really cool.

I sometime use it to see what the people on the otherside of the lake are actually doing It is not perverted if no one catches you.....

On a good night in the high country, you can see Jupiter and Saturn with a decent 60X spotter. One of our local weekend "getaways" is a lodge up in Kings Canyon park called Moniceto" and they have a monster scope mounted outside. Pretty cool and the kid loves it.

We had a telescope(until it fell out of a truck) that we used quite often.

We also have seen some pretty great things throughout the years...it never gets boring to me.
