Looks like the deer kept trying to quit and this guy kept kicking at him and stirring him up. Almost like it was staged.

You live in TX with a high-fence. Actually this video was on TV a few years ago with a much clearer vid. You could see that he had pads on under his camo. You can even see his elbow pads and hip pad in this video. It went on for quiet a while and at the same time his wife is getting different camera angles. Obviously she wasn't too shook up since she kept a pretty steady hand on the video.
Maybe he got more than he bargained for, but it was without a doubt, it was staged.
