Since Oscar Gloaing about his kids I figured I would tooo ;) LOL

seriously Ive been swamped with work and the kids are out on summer break.
Dani my oldest still in highschool goes to devry tech institute cause her grades are so damn good, and to top it off she got a job with the school district doing IT work ( this would be a full time job).

Then like everything else theres always a kicker, we finally get our scheduals worked out so dani can be at school and at work on time and get our other kids to there activities and some A hole rips off April truck while she was getting me a pair of shoes at one of the local shops.

so now I have a pair of 10K shoes and I am trying to figure out if I should wear them or put them in the gun safe ;)

I still read the board 5-6 times aday ;)

I was going here and there all weekend and then took my daughter (13 yrs old) out to the Fredericton Fish and Game rifle range as she got an invite to come and do some shooting. she stepped up grabbed a 223 for her first shots that were not a pellet gun and took out the bullseye from 25 yards. Did the same for 50 and 75 yards too. even made the range officers blush as she out shot them. she then put 4 just low at 100 yards and man she was hit there. every one just loved watching that steddy handed girl shoot. Grabbed a 22 long rifle semi and put 9 rounds in a space smaller than a dime with on bullet just about an inch away. Man she did good and had some fun to boot. She even got to try both a 22 revolver and a semi auto handgun. I even got to try a 357 handgun. WOW. What a day. went home got some luch and then got to watch my 10 yr old play football for the afternoon.
Sunday
Church then off to a family picnic and play at the playground and back home to transplant rubbarb around 4 and sat down for some rest around 9:30pm.

A very full weekend.

Here she is doing some shooting with the 22 semi

And here is one of the range officers helping her make the gun safe so they can go down range and see how she did.

You should have seen the smile on that girls face.

You both are right to be proud.

Dani does take after Mom doesn't she?:D

I am proud of mine also. Both got their varsity letters in track. Codie just missed going to states as part of the 4x200 relay. They got to regionals but placed 5th there(top 4 went to state). He will be getting the award for the team for most relay points. He was a member of the 4x100,4x200 and 4x400.

He also was part of breaking school track records 5 times. So his name is on the records board. One of the records was almost 30 years old.

But he also passed all the tests for the Ohio Graduation so this means he will graduate in 2 years.(He was a sophomore).

Been teaching both youngest to drive a stick shift truck now. Yes both are driving now.

Both have girl friend's also:eek:

We had a transmission go out on a car. Another needs a water pump. etc etc.

Work is killing me so I might be switching if I get a offer from the interviews I've went on.:(

Del, congrats to Dani. I remember my days there at DeVry Instistute of Technology in Phoenix. It's a good school with great results. She will do well.

As far as the shoes are concerned, I would have them dipped in gold or just wear them like they were the most expensive shoes you have ever worn!

Nut I wish you all the best in finding new work. Nothing makes a day hard to get through as when you hate your job. Good luck. Oh and congratulation to the youngens.

Good to see all the Kids doing what we "Hoped". I have Travis up at the office doing Geological Drafting with CAD. He seems to have a knack for it and it allows him the time to play American Legion baseball (Hoping for a College Ride). He is a Senior this year...Damn! that ride went fast. I have been working my Butt off and I don't know if bringing Travo into the Oil and Gas Business is a good thing for him in the long run....it would pay him great with what I have built here. Does anyone out there read the Future???? John

You guys all have great things to be proud of...

Enjoy the little buggers while you can, even when they paint your house black to help out dear old dad... :D
