How big an ice box???

More planning for AK Moose:

If Alaska airlines charges $100 for 100lb oversize baggage......how big an ice box is needed for 100lbs meat?.........I have some GIANT boxes I will obvoisly not take....but what size is right? 75Qt? 100 Qt? 120qt?

I am trying to match the size of the box to the volume of meat.

I get close too 80 pounds of boned out frozen meat in xxl ice mule soft coolers. They work fantastic. I have also
Used the extra heavy duty insulated fish boxes, the larger size ones and they work good as well. They have two grades make sure they are the heavy waxed boxes.

How does it do as checked-in air cargo. I am thinking half a moose would be a solid 225 lbs boned out?

Might need 3 of that type of cooler?

A big bull is typically at least 500 lbs of boneless meat

I followed her fat ass on a bicycle for a 10-mile first-date bike ride. I got back and had to gouge my eyeballs out.

We brought 3 totes back full of meat, and that was only one and 1/4 hind quarters, backstraps, tenderloins. It was about 250 lbs of meat and it stayed plenty cold being in totes in the underbelly of the planes.....
