Hawkins Oberndorf BDL Bottom Metal and Remington Spring

I am converting an ADL to BDL and have purchased a Hawkins Oberndorf BDL Bottom Metal. Will the stock magazine spring in my ADL fit into the Hawkins Bottom Metal?

I've got that bottom metal on a long action 700. I got the parts from Red Hawk, and they list the same spring for ADL/BDL. It works just fine.

The spring will fit the bottom metal slot. You may need to tweak the spring a bit to get proper feeding. It should look like a big W more or less.

Depending on the ADL model you may need to get the BDL screws to get bottom metal to attach
