GSP ACL surgery - which type?

How is the recovery going?
Not as well as I hoped. Her leg is still stiff often and makes some loud cracks when she stretches. She's still active with the kids and loves to look for bunnies and birds. She doesn't put much weight on her leg when she doesn't have to. I think this may be her new normal. She's still an active part of the family and the boys play with her every day as much as they can. I hope she improves some more but not expecting much.

Good luck with the recovery!

I'll post this for future readers... My lab tore her CCL at 10 when she slipped in the garage running around the car to see me. We took her to a specialist in SLC for TPLO not knowing if we were wasting the money on surgery for a dog that old.

A careful recovery and she was fantastic afterwards. She lived and ran and hunted four more years until we had to put her down last spring due to other health issues. I'd do it again.
