Got the skinny on the swan

Just got the information back on the jewelry toting swan and this is what I learned:
It was a male hatched in 1998 or earlier and was banded 2/11/2000 at East Lake, North Carolina..

Wonder how many mile that ol' boy flew over the years?

never shot a banded bird...it's always cool to find out where they come from, maybe one day I'll get to do it for myself. Congrats again on the bling.
