This one pains me a bit....It's a beautiful old rifle in great shape, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to draw a sheep tag in NV, or ID, CO, or was it UT? So need to free up some cash for the coming applications. :)

I bought it with the idea of reboring it to whelen or 9.3x62, but it simply shoots too good to destroy it....so it sits. Time for someone else to use it.

This rifle was manufactured in the 1930's, and is hell for stout, and in very good condition.
I believe this model to be the 30SX Express variety.
-24" barrel
-@#)(# on opening
-Factory Lyman rear sight
-2 stage trigger
-30 Govt chambering
-5+1
-lop = 13 5/8"

The good:
Excellent bluing
Excellent bore
Shot little from the looks of the bottom metal and bolt face
Action is smooooooth, feeds flawlessly.

The bad:
-stock has been refinished sometime in the last 85 years. it's nicely done, but wish it'd been left alone.
-stock has one hairline crack about 1/4" long at the tang, easily repairable.
-buttpad installed sometime in the last 85 years.
-bottom metal screws have been turned, not buggered - but turned.

So, buy it to collect, use it as-is (30-06!), or build the African jumbo thumper on it. Lot's of directions to go with this one, all of them good.

$535 shipped to your FFL from a private individual.

USPS MO preferred, unless I know you, then any form of payment is fine.
