Spotted this guy bedded under the rocks. Every year there's a buck in that same spot. I can spend hours glassing for mulies. They used to be my passion but anymore I almost feel guilty shooting one around here. I hope they can eventually recover to what we had just 10 or 12 years ago.

I know how you feel about hunting by the house. I had a descent mule deer buck by my house last year with a group of does and I even had my gun out over the hood of my truck and just decided not to shoot because there was not challenge. This was weird because usually I will shoot something that's smaller as long as it is close to the road.
