Hey Y'all
My daughter took her fisrt deer this last october. She killed a doe that went 150Lbs. that is pretty big for this area. She was hunting during a youth shotgun hunt hunt here, and took the doe at 75 yds with open sights on an 1100 remington youth model. I was plenty impressed.
I have decided that after this year, it is much more fun to watch your kids take the shot than to do it yourself. I have had way more fun watching her hunt and learn and succeed than doing it myself. Guess that is why I have only killed does this year

Anyway, now that she has taken a deer during the youth hunt she can get a regular season permit next year, maybe she will tag a buck then.
