Hi i am new to this site but i am a huge fan of the on your own adventures show. I have a question. I shed antler hunt on a private land parcel in northern Utah and there is a huge herd of elk that drops down into the winter range and about 25% of the elk are bulls. Not big bulls just small spikes 2x2s 3x3s 4x4s and 5x5s. They usually head out of the winter range around the end of march. What im wondering is would the smaller 4x4s and 3x3s and all the other smaller bulls shed any antlers before they leave the winter range( around the end of march) or would they shed them on there migration trails back to the high country? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.
