Disappointing find...

Was out checking for sheds and putting out a couple cameras today, came across this. I'm assuming it was just a winterkill, but who knows, was too far gone to tell much. Sure looked healthy in the game cam photos though...

Scouted out a big blacktail one year and found his bones during hunting season.

Looks plenty healthy and not too old, shame really.

Well, it is part of nature. I say it was a good find. If you didn't go out someone else would have found the rack or the animals would have chewed the antlers up.
