Dehydrated Meal Containers

I have a bunch of Mountain House containers that have 10 servings. I want to divide them to take on a backpacking trip my dad, son, and I will be taking in Wyoming. What have you guys done in the past? I don't want to put the food in my jetboil cause then I have to clean it, and I don't love the idea of reusing a mountain house bag. Any bags out there that are sturdy and won't melt? I used a "heavy duty" ziploc in the past and that didn't end very well.....

Buy a couple of regular meals and just clean the packages.

I would split them up and then use these bags and seal them yourself.

Yes, mylar will work great. We sealed a bunch of SHTF type food in them and then cooked them in the bag. Worked great and I seem to bear no long lasting health effects...

Try these mylar bags. Different sizes with windows to see what you packed. I label each bag with a sharpie. They hold up pretty well and they're cheap!
