Day at the range

Went to the range today to get ready for an upcoming trip to Montana and to shoot the .338 Lapua. My son, who out shoots me all the time, shot three different groups at 1,000 yards, the worst was 3.90" and his best was 1.66" three shot group. If that Lapua wasn't so heavy I'd try hunting with it, but I guess I'd also need him on the trigger, oh well, hopefully I can get it done anyway. Then we blew up some jack-o-lanterns.
