I bought a CZ 452 Varmint in .17HMR a couple years ago, but haven't shot it much other than one prairie dog trip where it didn't see a whole lot of use. In getting for another trip this past July, I realized that the stiff new bolt wasn't getting any easier to cycle and then looked at one of the cases - the head of the case was swelled out like the head of a round-head screw. The headspace was obviously a problem.
I finally got around to calling and getting a return number, without which they won't accept the shipped firearm. That was a couple/three weeks ago. I came home from work today and there was a box that Diane had signed for. Lo and behold...it held a brand new CZ 452-E Varmint in .17HMR with a much nicer stock than the previous one. I had put a trigger kit in the old one, and removed it before sending it back to them, so now I have to reinstall that....but that's okay. I'm a happy camper with CZ service!
