I live in Southern Michigan in the former limited firearm zone. I like classic wood stocked rifles and in 2019 I had a custom 450 Bushmaster built - Remington 700, threaded Shilen barrel, Timney trigger, and I’ve got a vx3i 2.5-8 mounted on a Badger Ordnance 20mm rail. I’ve shot 17 deer with it.

Now that we can use real rifles… I picked up a pre-64 Model 70 30/06 and already have a 280 AI and a couple other older rifles which I gravitate to (shot my last doe last year with a 25-35 Winchester from 1923).

Do I try and sell out of state at this point?

I guess this is a half “looking for opinions” and half advertisement post.

I'd keep it in case the law gets changed back.

I sold my 450 to a guy headed to Iowa.

But seeing it’s on a 700, you can just as easily sell the barrel and magazine. Then turn it into something you want.

That action is worth 600 bucks if it has a good trigger.

I had @p_ham build me a 350 legend and I don’t see any reason to not continue to use it.

I've had one of these specialty deer rifles in the local gun shop for sale for six months.
It's an oddball caliber (375 Whisper) which met IN regs when they first came out for this sort of thing.

I'll probably wind up rebarreling it to .308 it started out as.
