Hey RW, you're not so odd man. My 3 year old boy has a severe peanut allergy as well so I haven't had a peanut butter sandwich in about 2.5 years now. It sucks the poor kid can't enjoy most of the goodies out there that contain peanuts. Oh well, there are worse things to be allergic to. Myself, I prefer creamy....but I think it's time to re-evaluate since I haven't had PB in such a long time now.
I don't know what I would do if I became allergic to PB. I just love the stuff. Sorry to hear that RogueWarrior1957 and sorry to hear the same about your 3 yr old wilecoyote76.
I'm with most of you here - creamy. I like to eat it in celery, on bread, with a spoon and even like peanut butter and cucumber sandwiches! I draw the line at eating peanut butter and mayonaise sandwiches, though. GAG!!!
Chunky MMMMMMM. Peanut butter and Mayonaise??? I knew a guy in the navy that liked Pineapple and mayonaise sandwiches. Never could bring my self to try it.
Chunchy All the way, when I was a kid my Mom made us Peanut butter and jelley and butter sandwiches. I dont think I could stomach that now but it was good as a kid!!!
My brother swears that peanut butter and mustard sandwiches are wonderful...but knowing his cruddy judgement on good coffee, I think I'd pass even if I didn't have the allergy. I'm not that wild about mustard to begin with. And I remember what peanut butter tasted like the times I would think that maybe I had outgrown my problem. Don't sound like a good mix to me. And at my age, I'm not going to outgrow anything except my clothes and motorcycle! <snicker>
