Comments Sought Re/ Lower Columbia Summer Steelhead

Below is a link to an ODFW news blast that contains a survey put together by Oregon State University regarding the management of summer steelhead runs in the lower Columbia River. The information you provide in the survey will be considered in future management plans. Even though this is an Oregon-specific management survey, decisions made for the management of the lower river could have significant implications upstream--talking to you Washington and Idaho guys. I encourage all who have an interest in the future of our steelhead runs to provide comment.

In the last 10 years I've watched my favorite river, the Deschutes, which for a time was basically my second home, become a mere shadow of what it once was. Please help ODFW do what they can with the management tools available to them. Thanks guys.
