Colorado unit 62

My son and I drew second season deer tags for unit 62.Any suggestions, or tips.Thanks

I would really like to know how you guys made out. Never hunted CO. Still learning how to obtain great tags. Building points in WY and waiting. Hitman.

get away from roads and 4 wheeler accesable areas and get up high. The deer usually haven't come down from the high country yet by second season.

Good luck...you will probably have to go down into the steep and deep, away from divide road, do ALOT of glassing, there are big bucks there, saw a large 5X5 with many stickers last weekend from about 400 yds across the valley on a hill side grazing. You will have lots of hunters up there, not many leave the road, so you have lots of area to hunt! Have fun!

Thanks guys. That is our plan. We are going to camp at 25 Mesa and hunt north from there. Looks like lots of roadless country up there.
