There's a reason it's easy to get. Most 4th tags aren't. I killed a fork in 2014 cuz it sucked. Or maybe I suck (highly probable). Either way, you should be able to kill a buck, just don't be picky. Try the BLM NW of New Castle or Silt.

There are big deer in the unit. There are a few guys that hunt it every year and shoot big bucks. I’d spend some time near the private borders and see what you can find.
