I am completely new to turkey hunting. I moved to the Western Slope of Colorado this spring, so am trying to get as much hunting in as I can. I did buy a spring tag, but really only scouted trying to find where birds are. I found a few places they seemed to be constantly, and in the last few weeks made it back there to do some more scouting, but haven't seen any at all. Do turkeys move in the summer, or drastically change there patterns? I know any animal can move, but if I know where turkeys are in the spring, does that mean they will be in the general area once Fall rolls around?

Any help on this would be appreciated as I am a complete newbie on this subject. Everything I have read about turkey hunting is based on the spring.

Thanks
