On the advise of several "Hunttalk" members, I decided to get a better sleeping bag. Darn good thing too. DS and me encountered several feet of new snow and tempratures as low as -16%
Even with a small tent heater, temp.s inside the tent got below 0%, but my new bag keep me warm & tosty, I didn't even have to wear long johns when sleeping, just skivies.

The bag is a (brand)"Slumberjack" (model) "Hunt King II", rated at -20% it is rectangular, extra long & wide, lots of room to streach out.

Not for backpackers at 9lbs, cost was $125

I need a new bag too. Was that the one suggested by most. I can not stand mummy bags.

I hate mummy bags too. This thing is really big & roomy.
I did the reserch, and this looked like the best bag for under $200
If you order one, make sure you get the one rated at -20%, because they also make the same model but lighter, rated at 0%

I ordered it from "Thecampingspot.com" but I just logged on there and they no longer list it.
Try the Slumber Jack web site. They have a dealer list.
