Despite everyone saying the Savage 99's are ugly, I remember my dad’s model 99 in 264 Win Mag and wish I had that rifle.

I have been working on getting use to an 1895 405 Winchester and I have to say it is an amazing round. It belongs to a good friend of mine and after I get my eye fixed, I know 150 yards is very doable. Off a rest I could keep them under 2 inches at 100 yards before it got a cloudy eye. He loads 300 grain Hornady at 2100 ps.
