Camping in another unit.

First timer here. Is it legal to camp in another unit and hunt in another. The land I am hunting in wyoming is at the north end of the unit and there is some nice blm at the south end of another that looks like a better place to camp that is close by vs camping in a less desirable and maybe further away. Thanks in advance for any help!

Totally legal, just make sure you field dress your animal were you shot it so if you did get questioned by the wardens you could taken them to the gut pile at the site of the kill.

Excellent comment for those that might not be too far from their hunt area like the OP wants to do and just decide to throw it into their truck and gut/process it back at camp.
